Rockstar Games - Review

Who are each of the games aimed at?
GTA Vice City - Teenagers & young adults as it is an 18 certificate.
Canis Canem Edit - Teenagers as it is a 15.
Red Dead Revolver - Young teens who enjoy the wild west, 16+ certificate.
Manhunt - Teenagers & young adults as it is very violent and an 18 certificate.
Ping-pong - Everyone, but especially children and young teenagers as it is enjoyable. Also sports-based people who enjoy a variety of sports.
Midnight Club: Los Angeles - children and teens as it is a fun racing game and also people who enjoy modifying cars.

What is the appeal of each game?
GTA - Killing people and being a criminal, without breaking the law.
Canis Canem Edit - School-life appeal, fighting bullies and conquering their foes.
Red Dead Revolver - Bounty Hunter, third person shooter appeal to people who like westerns.
Manhunt - Violence, trying to complete missions
Ping-Pong - people who enjoy sporting games
Midnight Club - Driving-racing appeal.

By playing the games, why do you think Rockstar Games have been successful?
Gives people the chance to be a criminal without breaking the law and messing about. Also, very realistic in their creation of games, for example, in Ping-Pong the game is very realistic as the players get to change the spin type.

Controversial aspects of games?
Guns, violence, stealing, criminal activity, bullying people in schools and extreme violence, and killing people.
